TEHRAN - The commander of the Iranian Army has said the armed forces do not stand on ceremony in defending Iran.

The enemy does not spare anything and would have destroyed the country if it had the power, Ataollah Salehi stated, IRNA reported on Thursday.

The fact that they have not attempted any move is that they have well realized the power of Iran’s armed forces, he underlined.

The Army’s ground forces commander has said Iran will not hesitate to launch attacks on terrorists in they come close to 40 kilometers away from Iranian borders with Iraq or Afghanistan.
